Various Pad Stack Function
In addition to the 250 default pad stack, more user defined pad list can be constructed. Various shapes of pad are available, and inner layer pad size can be defined. Both round and rectangle type pad hole is available. Metal Mask and Solder Mask can be defined in both library (as pad stack) and board level. And their sizes are controllable.

Various Partial Via Types
To support the state-of-the-art drilling technology, Partial Via types such as Blind Via and Buried Via can be defined. Also, via size can be selected easily during the routing.

Powerful Silk Drawing
Copy and trimming function lifted limitations of silk drawing that complex shape of library can be drawn easily.

Dimension function in Library mode helps effective library management.

Package Builder
Package Builder creates DIP, QFP, PGA, SOP, PLCC and other types of package automatically by simple data input procedure. Subsidiary function of Package Builder is to convert bitmap file (company logo, etc..) to library for direct loading in PCB.
With the functions as above special purpose pads such as for Rotary Switch or PCS Key Pad can be designed. And Pad Array function helps insertingmany pads without repeated operation. From Schematic Designer, designed part and net information is transferred to PCB Designer by appropriate setting. Then PCB Designer can skip unnecessary steps for designing and start from placement of parts on a specified size of board. In PCB Designer, Auto Placement and other special placement tools are supported for the efficient placement of part by specific arrangement. If there is a guide board, its scanned image can be used as a background. When a new part is inserted into a board, Push&Shove makes it easy. Board outline can be loaded by dxf format data, or can be selected among the regular formats by Board Builder. Also outline can be constructed by easy drawing functions of PCB Designer.

Board Builder
Board Builder has many types of regular board to be used by selection and this helps to avoid re-drawing of such board.

Auto Dimensioning
Dimension of board outline is produced automatically. It is entered by interactive mode as is in a mechanical CAD. DXF format is available.

Placement by Group
PLOT can be drawn on the sheet and analog PLOT is available as user can see in the oscilloscopePart is placed interactively by group and part type.

Round/Matrix/Polar Placement
Part can be placed by any designated angle.

Additional Placement
When a part should be placed additionally by the change of design specification, this function can be used conveniently.

Auto Placement
Parts can be placed automatically. This function is very useful when remaining parts are placed after the placement by group is done.

Net Minimization
After the placement is over, this function optimizes board by minimizing net.
PCB Designer's tracks are routed initially based on the 45'digital track while 90' and free angle can be selected easily. While routing, simple function keys help various analog conversion for the very delicate analog design. EMI, EMC, CE specification can be met owing to the strong functions of PCB Designer. And for the high frequency design, transmi ssion line effect can be simulated against the noise of board.

Slope Track
Step-like track can be converted to smooth slope, and this is very important function for analog design. This kind of function has been available only in workstation level CAD products.

Arc and Curve Track
Arc and free curve track can be drawn. This is also an essential function for analog design.

Custom Snap Routing
User can define irregular snap for the special shape of track. This snap can be defined by the support of PCB Designer's drawing function.

Trim Function
Point/Line/Arc type trimming of track, copper and line is supported.

Tear Drop
Tear drop can be placed automatically or individually. And its size can be controlled by dragging or input.

Auto- Jumper
When there is Track Cross, Jumper is created automatically and its size can be controlled.

Shape Based Auto-Router
WinRoute provides shape based auto routing.

PCB Designer can import file from many PCB tools such as P-Cad (pdif), Cadstar (cdi), Pads (asc), Autocad (dxf), Protel (asc) while Schematic Designer imports library and schematic of OrCAD. PCB Designer can produce its design data output by each category (netlist, padlist, text, color, etc.)

Copper and Copper Pour
Copper pouring and its editing is convenient. Any shape of drawing can be converted to copper, and Remove Island function removes unnecessary copper.
Remained Copper Ratio, Beta Ratio and Transparent Ratio are very useful statistics to design PCB against noise problem.

Real Time DRC
DRC (Design Rule Check) function provides on & off line inspection. On-line DRC instantly warns error with various options. DRC also achieves high performance and extensive coverage such as Silk on Pad and is tightly incorporated with Rule Base Design.

Power Plane and Flexible Thermal Pad
In Power Plane, thermal relief can be created with automatic control of number of thermal line. In case that thermal relief can not be created, DRC checks related pad and via.

SMT Assembly Type
With pick & place data of SMT & PTH parts and layer, SMT Assembly Type is supplied to analyze the process.

Paneling of PCB Board
PCB boards can be paneled by editing and importing. This paneling function is essential for the cost reduction.

CAM Support (Gerber and NC Drill)
By simple layer identification of PCB, Gerber data can be created. Gerber Batch also needs simple button clicking for creation. NC Drill Report provides drilling pattern and its time simulation.
